Yorkshire Maps
Yorkshire is divided into several counties and includes two national parks and several national landscapes. ​I have completed several Yorkshire maps but there are still a few to do. ​​

All maps are available on 270 gsm archival fine art paper or 280 gsm cotton / polyester canvas. Unframed or framed maps available for both.
North Yorkshire Map
Year of Design - 2022
North Yorkshire is the largest county in England but all the detail I normally pack in to my maps is present. Because of this the available print sizes are different from my normal offering.

There are three versions of the map available. One of the county as a whole, another of the districts of North Yorkshire pre-2023 (including districts like Selby, Richmond, Scarborough and Harrogate) and and a third showing the new administrational boundaries or unitary authorities established on April 1st 2023.

Details on the Map
Rivers, lakes, reservoirs and canals a complete road and rail network, woodland, moorland, parks, hilltops, golf courses, airports and runways, are all marked and labelled on the maps.

All the rivers, canals, railways and stations are labelled along with civil parish borders, World Heritage Sites and military areas.
​
Hill shading is applied across the map bringing the topography and relief of North Yorkshire alive.
​
Long distance walking routes are plotted and labelled on the map including, Richmond Way, Way of the Roses, Lady Anne's Way, Tabular Hills Way, Wainwrights Coast to Coast, Ebor Way and the Ribble Way.
Over 100 Sites of significant historical & cultural interest are also plotted on the maps complete with reference sections. Examples include Helmsley and Pickering Castles, The Shambles and York Minster, The Devils Arrows and Cawthorn Roman Camps, Guisborough Priory and Bolton Abbey, Battle of Stamford Bridge and Battle of Towton, Newby Hall and Wensleydale Cheese and Whitby Abbey and the Ribblehead Viaduct.

West Yorkshire Map
Year of Design - 2023
There are two versions of the West Yorkshire maps, one with the districts of the county (City of Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford, Kirklees and Calderdale) and another of the county as a whole.
The West Yorkshire maps are particular favourites of mine and somewhat distinct from many of the other county maps as the area covers such large dense urban areas but also has strong topography, beautiful showcased with the maps hill shading. This combination and contrast of urban and rural on one map is unique in the UK.

Details on the Map
All the detail of the urban areas with a complete road network and urban place names, parks, golf courses, industrial and trade parks. A complete rail network with station and line labels.

All the rivers, canals, lesser streams and brooks are on the map which snake their way through the valleys striking presented with the maps hill shading.
​
Long distance walking routes are plotted and labelled on the map including, the Calderdale Way, Pennine Way, Bronte Way, Bradford Millennium Way and Leeds Country Way.
Over 60 Sites of significant historical & cultural interest are also plotted on the maps complete with researched reference section. Examples include Ferrybridge Henge and Harewood House, The Twelve Apostles and Saltaire, Wentbridge Viaduct and Pontefract Castle, Lister and Twaite Mills, Brontë Parsonage Museum and Leeds Corn Exchange and Rounndhay Park and Piece Hall.

Details on the Map
Coastal features and beaches from Scarborough to Saltburn border the North York Moor National Park's east. South is the Vale of Pickering and Howardian Hills NL, west is the Vale of Mowbray and north is the Cleveland Basin.

The dales and moors of the park are beautifully presented together with all the details of major paths and tracks, road and rail networks, woodland, hilltops, civil parishes, rivers, becks and military areas.
​
Long distance walking routes are plotted and labelled on the map including, Tabular Hills Walk, Lyke Wake Walk, Wainwrights Coast to Coast, Esk Valley Walk and Cleveland Way.
47 Sites of significant historical & cultural interest are also plotted on the maps complete with researched reference section. Examples include; Whitby Abbey, Beggars Bridge and Captain Cook's Monument.

Details on the Map
My Yorkshire Dales map is packed full of detail including waterfalls, quarries, paths, tracks, a complete road and rail network, rivers, becks, reservoirs and tarns. Woodland, moorland and marshland, hilltops with elevations, moors, dales and fells.
​
Civil parish borders and labels, all place names, county borders and military areas are also present.
​
The Marilyns with their elevations are also prominently labelled along with long distance walking routes including; The Pennine Way, Lady Anne's Way, Way of the Roses and Yorkshire Three Peaks.
​
35 Sites of Significant Historical and Cultural Significance are also cited on the map including; White Scar Caves, Aysgarth Falls, Skipton Castle, Bolton Abbey and The Strid.

All the original larger details maps have been simplified to make them work at smaller sizes.

A large number of hilltop and fell labels are removed by the Marilyns are maintained. The civil parish borders and labels are also removed along wot the walking routes.
