the map of warwickshire was designed in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. Historically it's a county whose borders have changed considerably over the years as the country's population has grown and the urban conurbation of the west midlands encroached on the ancient shire. The metropolitan county of the west midlands was created in 1974, which took a huge bite out of the heart of the county giving it the pac man esque shape we see today. i think it makes for a beautiful map, a great piece of wall art that will look fabulous and informative at home
