Shropshire Maps
Shropshire Wall Maps
Year of Design - 2023
I have made two versions of the Shropshire map. One shows the two unitary authorities, including Telford and Wrekin, that complete the ceremonial county, the other is the county as a whole.

Details on the Map

'Floreat Salopia' is the county motto, meaning 'May Shropshire Flourish'. This is integrated into the compass design.
Great effort is made to include every place name across the county. All prominent hilltops with their elevations are added along with woodland, moorland, parks, golf courses, civl parish borders and labels, rives, streams and complete road and rail networks with station and line labels.

Long distance walking routes are also plotted on the map, including the Jack Mytton Way, Offa's Dyke Trail, Severn Way and Shropshire Way.

Sites of Significant Historical and Cultural Interest are also added to the map. Researched and written from resources such as National rust and Historic England. These include, Stokes Castle, Boscobel House, Bridgnorth and Clun Castles, Stiperstones and Iron Bridge.

Shropshire Mini Maps
My Shropshire map has also been re-designed for the mini map series. These have less detail to make them work at smaller sizes with the civil parish borders and labels removed along with a large amount of wood, and hill top labels. Placenames are prioritised. The walking routes are also removed.
The 'sites of significant historical and cultural interest' are also taken out.

Sizes available
Large: A2 - 59.4 x 42 cm
Medium: B3 - 50 x 35.3 cm
