Northumberland Maps

Year of Design - 2025

Northumberland is a large rural county with a long coastline and varied landscape. A lot of work went into designing this map, but it wasn't hard to make it look beautiful.

One little element of the deign I am most proud of is the use of the Northumberland tartan pattern in the map border.

There are three sizes available for the map

Large: 100 x 70 cm - B1 (original design size) - £90

Small: 84.1 x 59.4 cm - A1 - £75

The Northumberland maps are available on 270 gsm archival fine art paper or 280 gsm cotton / polyester canvas, framed or unframed.

(gsm - grams per square meter)

Details on the Map

Civil parish borders and labels, all place names, woods, parks, golf courses, rivers, paths and tracks, lakes, reservoirs moors, hilltops, military areas and Roman roads.

There is a complete road and rail network with station and line labels.

Long distance walking routes are plotted and labelled including the Hadrian's Wall Path, The Pennine Way, St Oswald's Way and St Cuthbert's Way.

Northumberland Mini Maps

My Northumberland map has also been re-designed for the mini map series. These have less detail than the main maps, with the removal of the civil parish borders and labels, some walking routes and a number of wood, park and hilltop labels. The 'sites of significant historical and cultural interest' have also been removed.
